Giving and Getting

Christmas is a time for giving, I know you have heard it all before. But if I told you Christmas is a time for getting you would be shocked.

But it is. When you see everyone smiling you get that warm feeling inside. When you sing carols you get a great big smile on your face. When you get and give presents you get a warm feeling inside.When you finish your lovely Christmas dinner you get stuffed like a turkey!  When you get soaking wet after snowball fight! When you tell the very cheesy joke in a Christmas cracker you get the pleasure of laughing at a family member. These are the positive things you get this Christmas.

So you see, you get more than you give

Many things make you happy

In life there are people and things you will like and people and things you don't like. But instead of only doing what you like you can create things inspired by the stuff you don't like. How you ask. Well I will answer that, lets say you don't like one of your clothes, you could customize it using other fabrics and accessories. If you saw a very nice cake but you didn't like one of the ingredients you could always go home and make one yourself  but change the recipe so you enjoy the taste.

You can always change things so you like or enjoy them more. And most these things are simple and fun. I's all part of being creative!

Working Hard

At school my teacher assigned us a test to create a card for a Festival of Light, e.g. Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Chinese New Year. I decided to do a Chinese New Year card. After the test we got our Levels, I was a 6a (this is the highest Level for a person my age!). Now my teacher has invited me back so I can improve my card and get a higher Level :( . Do think this a good or bad thing? PLEASE vote or leave a comment!
